Design & Data produced a number of informative videos to showcase the Copernicus services implemented by ECMWF at the European State of the Climate event in April. The aim was to inform the challenges of climate change and the vital role that Copernicus data play in mitigating and adapting to the effects of our warming planet. The event attracted a diverse audience ranging from MEPs to industry, policymakers, scientists and media.
During April 2018, Copernicus and its services implemented by ECMWF were hosted at a high-level event at the European Parliament in Brussels. Design & Data worked with Copernicus ECMWF in the organisation of the event and to develop a number of media-related materials to communicate the impact and benefits for service users and European citizens.
Weather forecasts and earth observation—these are the primary objectives of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). To be able to meet these objectives, they need the support of young, motivated scientists. Design & Data accompanied ECMWF employees on their daily business and created six testimonial films to provide potential employees an insight into the exciting challenges at the ECMWF.
