Throughout a diverse array of projects we prove we can think outside of the box and bring to life a concept into all forms of media: video productions, websites, animations, motion graphics, livestreaming, social media and events. As we enter 2020 we look forward to even more exciting work with our clients.
This festive season we’re doing something special here at Design & Data. Sending gifts in winter is a time-honoured tradition but producing and posting seasonal gifts has a heavy carbon footprint. We believe that Christmas doesn’t have to cost the Earth.
As 2017 draws to a close and the festivities begin, our offices will close from 16th December 2017 until 4th January 2018. We take this opportunity to wish our network of customers, suppliers and partners a very happy and smooth entry into the new year 2018.
Since the company’s founding in 2011, Design & Data has grown in its service offering of “Digital Visual Communications Solutions”. Through our creative spirit we have taken on new challenges to become thought leaders for the space and science industry.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards programme, recognising big ideas in marketing and communications. It receives over 6000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world. And we won one of the best websites in the category of ‘Features-User Interface’ with the ‘Lunar Exploration Interactive Documentary’ we conceived, designed and developed for ESA.
How time flies by! It’s been a busy six years at Design & Data, full of exciting projects. We prepared a showreel, which highlights some of our more interesting work – from drone shots, interviews and livestream events, to animations and 3D motion graphics.
In a new and ambitious project, we are excited to have launched ‘Bake In Space’, which seeks to address the scientific and technical challenges relating to the production of fresh bread in space. Design & Data has formed a subsidiary company under the same name.
Our Rosetta Strato Charity Campaign has come to a close. The donated plush toys and proceeds will now go to Universe Awareness (UNAWE) in support of their mission of ‘inspiring every child with our wonderful cosmos’.
Another exciting year comes to an end. We are looking forward to the New Year. In the meantime our offices close from 17th December 2016 to 3rd January 2017.
Since we launched the concept of ‘Spaceoneers’ we have been interacting with the new space community, to find out how startup founders got started, what motivates them and what trends and technologies they think will affect their business models in the near future. After a successful test phase, we are pleased to reveal the new design of our site.
