In December ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli will begin his 6-month space mission. He will answer questions from interested Internet users from on board the ISS using video messaging.
In 2009 ESA astronaut Frank De Winne already answered questions from Internet users on the ESA YouTube channel during his 6-month stay on the International Space Station (ISS). for the ESA. We preselect a number of questions that have been submitted and look after the posting of video messages from space.
We are also responsible for shooting the trailer video. The entire production of the trailer was organised by us – from choosing the location for filming (ESA Centre in Cologne) and the camera team, to integrating footage material and the video editing. The video was produced in two different languages (English and Italian) and three different versions: one variant each for YouTube and Twitter, and a separate variant for the video channel of Wired, the media partner of ESA in Italy.
