We’re very happy to announce another Rosetta cartoon has been released. In this episode, Rosetta and Philae recall two years exploring Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.
After a long and challenging journey together, Rosetta and Philae have made some great scientific discoveries in a mission that has proven a major success.
Together they have figured out how the comet got its curious shape. They also revealed how its surface was much harder than scientists thought and how it contains complex molecules that could be origins of life on Earth.
As they have continued on their journey they have found it more and more difficult to communicate with one another. Nonetheless Rosetta has continued to make many exciting discoveries on her own.
But there is a lot of work still to be done. Rosetta only has a short time left before her amazing mission ends. As she moves further away from the Sun she too will come to rest on the surface of the comet.
